Dr. Rábago's work has crossed the boundaries of human dentistry, to improve the quality of life of many endangered species. collaboration with the Jerez Zoobotanical Garden has led him to carry out pioneering interventions, such as:
-Implant placement, cleaning, and reconstruction of a tusk in a male mandrill, using advanced 3D techniques.
– A beak implant was placed on a vulture with a birth defect. This allowed the animal to recover from its obvious malnutrition.
– Together with a team of professionals from the Jerez Zoo, release a hermit ibis, an endangered species, by placing a prosthesis on one of its legs using the dental implant system.
